Infrastructure as Code: Build reusable IaC patterns using Terraform and Cloud SDKs to meet security standards.
CI/CD Engineering: Design and maintain robust pipelines using Jenkins and cloud-native toolchains for seamless deployments.
Incident Response: Lead triage for complex distributed architectures; participate in on-call rotations for high-severity incidents and drive MTTR reduction.

Experience: 7–10 years in technical roles (Software Engineering or Systems Administration) with at least 4 years specifically managing production environments in AWS or GCP.
Coding Proficiency: Strong experience in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java) and shell scripting (Bash).
Orchestration: Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) and configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
Observability: Proven experience with monitoring and logging stacks (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, ELK) to ensure SLO/SLI compliance.
What Could Set You Apart
Cloud Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Professional Google Cloud Engineer.
DevSecOps Mindset: A track record of integrating security scanning and compliance directly into the CI/CD lifecycle.
Systems Thinking: Ability to demonstrate how you’ve optimized complex distributed systems to improve global availability.
Cloud Financial Engineering (FinOps): Partner with Finance and Product leadership to drive cloud cost transparency; implement automated rightsizing, cost-optimization, and reliable cloud cost forecasting.
Team Leadership & Talent Growth: Direct a high-performing squad of SREs, providing technical mentorship, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous learning through structured career pathing.
