Join Our Infrastructure Engineering Team as a DevOps Engineer!

About The Role

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that power our organization’s platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable seamless software delivery, optimize cloud environments, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our systems. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our technology stack and drive the success of our strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to accelerate application and infrastructure delivery and improve deployment reliability.
• Deploying infrastructure and applications using existing deployment pipelines. Troubleshoot deployment failures.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Lead incident management efforts, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in our platforms.
• Provide 4th line escalation for infrastructure issues including on call (on a rota basis).
• Produce technical documentation to a high standard.
  
  

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineer, Deployment or related roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of and implementation experience in Microsoft Azure ecosystem, which must include Azure Kubernetes, Application Gateway, and either PostgreSQL or SQL Server. Knowledge of APIM, ServiceBus and associated diagnostics services underpinning data processing and distributed applications is desirable.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible and Helm Charts preferred) and CI/CD pipelines (ADO preferred).
• Strong scripting skills (Powershell, Bash, etc.) and experience with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Azure Log Analytics, etc.).
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and system architecture best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
