We are seeking a Sr. Proposal Writer who will be responsible for managing the end-to-end proposal development lifecycle and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and client-focused proposals. The role involves analyzing client requirements, developing structured proposal responses, and overseeing proposal writers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely submissions. The Associate Manager works closely with sales, delivery teams, SMEs, finance, and marketing to translate technical service offerings into compelling client proposals while maintaining alignment with organizational standards and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities, Deliverables / Outcomes
Proposal Management & Development
Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, including RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, capability documents, and client submissions.
Analyze client requirements, scope, and evaluation criteria to develop compliant and competitive proposal responses.
Lead the creation and structuring of proposal content, including Executive Summaries, Scope of Work, Methodology, Technical Descriptions, Compliance Matrices, Pricing Notes, and Annexures.
Ensure proposals clearly articulate solution approach, service delivery model, timelines, and expected outcomes.
Support the development of Statements of Work (SoW), commercial documentation, and contractual inputs aligned with proposal scope.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Oversee and guide proposal writers in drafting, editing, formatting, and refining proposal documents.
Review and validate proposal sections prepared by team members to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.
Coordinate with technical teams, SMEs, delivery heads, and consulting teams to gather required proposal inputs.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure proposals align with client expectations and business positioning.
Liaise with design teams to ensure proposals meet branding, formatting, and presentation standards.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all proposals meet organizational quality standards, compliance requirements, and client-specified formats.
Validate the accuracy of technical descriptions, service models, SLAs, project timelines, and pricing assumptions.
Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive client and internal information within proposal documentation.
Process & Knowledge Management
Manage proposal timelines, review cycles, and submission schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
Maintain and update proposal repositories, templates, case studies, resumes, and reusable content libraries.
Support the continuous improvement of proposal processes, language, and document structure based on feedback and win/loss analysis.
