Job Overview 

GENERAL ASSEMBLY LAUNCH AND EXECUTION ENGINEER - Responsible for tooling engineering, electrical, torque on the launch & execution team which processes the tooling and facilities for new vehicle lines. 1) Determine the complete tooling requirements to produce a world class manufactured product, including costs estimates, and vendor quotations. 2) Writes MEDDS (equipment specifications) for new equipment plus develops bid packages/specifications and collaborates with Purchasing to competitively quote equipment purchases. 3)Interfaces with the product teams designing the vehicles 4) Launches secure tooling and vehicle design interface for vehicles 5) Launches vehicles working with Manufacturing Engineering to facilitate assembly lines 6) Is the EPM to drive change in the design for better manufacturing processes - Spell out EPM abbrievation 7)Trains houlry operators on the sequence and purpose of the tooling as launched on body on frame vehicles.
