Develop colors to meet customer specifications and needs as per product guidelines from regional lab. Test, record and report the performance of products and implement quality control processes. To support the day-to-day activities in relation to color development and  QC lab. To support the coil coating business with a focus towards customer complaints, site quality KPI like complaints, RFT, average ApB, SLOB consumption and rejects.</p></div></div><div style=padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;><div style=font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;><H2 style=font-size: 1em; margin: 0px>Key Accountabilities</H2> </div><div><div tabindex="0"><ul><li>Demonstrate understanding of product technology and aware of customer application techniques</li><li>Able to explain operators on production process and manufacturing methods of different products</li><li>Able to match colors and submit new color submissions to for coil coating customers and follow formulation guidelines</li><li>Entry of color formulations into PV and support to update recipe in system after scale up process.</li><li>Apply knowledge of product technology to evaluate goods supplied meet agreed customer needs. If required adjust the batch to meet agreed customer specifications</li><li>Perform revalidation of expired raw materials and finished goods and release products for customer use.</li><li>Collect, record and analyze batch data and suggest for BoM revision after scale up process</li><li>Execute tasks in investigations of customer complaints, share inputs and support to identify root cause</li><li>Independently test and report compliant batch samples and take usage decision for product release to customer.</li><li>Execute requests from technical service and sales for quality related customer support. Support color adjustment of batch at customer site</li><li>Liaise closely with QC technical team and production team to report Quality data on monthly basis</li><li>Follow laboratory SoPs, safety guidelines and take ownership for area housekeeping.</li></ul></div></div></div><div style=padding: 10px 0px;border: 1px solid transparent;><div style=font-size:16px;word-wrap: break-word;><H2 style=font-size: 1em; margin: 0px>Experience</H2> </div><div><ul><li>Able to establish credibility quickly to foster effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts.</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to operate independently & proactively with minimal supervision, giving consistent and stable performance.</li><li>Execute test plan and interpret results</li><li>Able to have continuous improvement mindset with the curiosity to question and a willingness to learn</li><li>Support with investigation of complaints with good problem-solving skills.</li><li>Time management and prioritization skills</li><li>Basic knowledge on use of MS office, SAP (Quality transactions), Color computer / applications for lab</li><li>Knowledge of products used in Coil coatings used in the region</li><li>Well versed with application techniques – both drawdown application</li><li>Knowledge of color matching and QC procedures</li><li>Able to communicate in English, written and spoken</li></ul></div></div></div> <p><span style="font-size:14.0px">At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best self.
