Working Days: Monday to Friday & Alternate Saturdays

Qualification: CA Appeared / CA Dropout Preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company’s end-to-end accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST, Income Tax, finalization of accounts, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and financial reporting, preferably from the construction industry.

This role requires a candidate who can independently handle financial processes, coordinate with auditors and government authorities, and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities (core priorities):
• Manage end-to-end accounting and month-end close activities, including preparation and finalization of Balance Sheet, P&L, and financial statements.
• Ensure timely GST compliance: filings, reconciliations and coordination with tax authorities and consultants.
• Oversee statutory filings and regulatory compliance to maintain adherence with tax and accounting laws.
• Perform regular reconciliations (bank, ledgers, inter-company, AR/AP) and uphold internal controls.
• Prepare and deliver financial MIS and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts, vouchers, and supporting documentation; coordinate with auditors for audits and inspections.
• Additional responsibilities:
• Support Income Tax matters and liaise with external advisors as needed.
• Assist with quarterly and annual closing processes and year-end finalization.
• Coordinate with government officers, tax authorities, and compliance departments when required.
• Monitor and help improve accounting processes, AP/AR workflows, and general accounting controls.
