Head - Automation Cabinets - Manufacturing Operations

This is your role. What part will you play?

Position - This is a leadership position as head of manufacturing operations for PA Projects business within PA Projects delivery organization.

Responsibilities - The position is responsible to handle overall manufacturing operation for process automation projects business. The responsibilities involve complete manufacturing & testing life-cycle including managing material logistics (for Siemens Germany & bought out components), managing outsourced automation system cabinet manufacturing operation, conducting internal cabinet testing, customer FAT and dispatch. The person responsible for this position is expected to get these operations done with a combination of own and outsourced resources.

Qualification - The person should be graduate engineer, preferably in instrumentation or electronics, having 12 to 18 years of experience in process automation. Substantial part of experience in engineering and / or manufacturing of process automation systems is desirable. The person should also have sound knowledge of quality processes and EHS practices involved in such operation. Candidates with higher experience may also be considered if found suitable.

Further expectations - Since this is an expanding state of the art set-up, the candidate is expected to be high on various initiatives to set-up new / expand existing automated systems / processes in own operation area as well as in the area of cabinet engineering, logistics & testing.
