About the Role

The Associate Operations Specialist – Central Disbursement & Payment is part of the Central Operations team, supporting Credit Operations in the booking and processing of retail loans. The role involves managing activities such as inventory funding, pre-disbursal cancellations, master data maintenance (pin codes, cities, states), loan linking in the FinnOne system, DSA/dealer empanelment, and payout processing. The incumbent will ensure operational accuracy, drive process efficiency through automation, and maintain compliance with service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage loan disbursal (booking), payouts, onboarding, and post-disbursal activities across all retail products.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in accordance with defined SLAs.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of loan documentation across various products.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including branches, product teams, and policy teams for process updates and discrepancy resolution.
  • Handle and manage outsourced staff effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Drive quality standards and SLA adherence within the unit.
  • Focus on automation and digitization to improve process efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.
  • Uphold the organization’s code of conduct and compliance standards.
  • Execute single-product and manual activities as required.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and publish various MIS reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate daily with branches and central teams for issue resolution.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for new system requirements or modifications to existing functionalities.

What We Are Looking For

Education

  • Graduation: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institution.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in loan disbursal, payouts, or central operations within retail banking.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding of loan processing and documentation.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to manage outsourced teams and ensure service quality.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Process-driven mindset with an inclination toward automation and improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
