Job Description

Patient Care: Help patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom.

Vital Signs: Measure and record temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate.

Mobility Support: Turn and reposition bedridden patients, and help patients transfer to wheelchairs or walk.

Feeding & Nutrition: Assist with meals and track food and liquid intake.

Observation & Reporting: Note changes in physical or emotional health and report them to nurses.

Environment Maintenance: Keep patient rooms clean, safe, and stocked with needed supplies

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, plus completion of a state-approved nursing assistant or CNA training program.

Certifications: Valid nursing assistant certification or license (varies by region).

Interpersonal Skills: Strong empathy, patience, and clear communication.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift or move patients safely
