The IT End User Support Executive is responsible for providing reliable day‑to‑day IT support to all users at the manufacturing site. The role ensures smooth operation of end‑user computing systems and provides basic network support to maintain productivity and minimize downtime at all solar sites and office operations, while strictly following KP Group policies.
Key Responsibilities
IT End User Support:
Provide Level‑1 / Level‑2 IT support to all site users including, project, operation & maintenance, stores, production, admin, and management teams.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
Desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards, mouse, and other peripherals
Windows OS (installation, configuration, updates, and basic troubleshooting)
Standard business applications (MS Office, email, antivirus, VPN, ERP/MES client access where applicable)
Resolve hardware and software issues with a focus on production continuity and minimal downtime.
Assist users with login, access issues, password resets, and basic application usage.
Printer & Peripheral Support
Install and support:
Local, network, cloud printers used in production, stores, staff accommodation area and admin areas
Coordinate with vendors for printer repair and consumables as required.
Basic Network Support
Provide first‑level network troubleshooting for end users, including:
LAN and Wi‑Fi connectivity issues
IP address conflicts and basic DNS/DHCP issues
Perform basic checks on:
Network switches, cabling, access points (visual and connectivity level)
Escalate advanced network or server issues to the Head Office IT team within defined SLAs.
Support connectivity for production offices and shop‑floor terminals as per guidance from HO IT.
Coordination & Communication
Act as the site‑level point of contact for coordination with the Head Office IT team.
Coordinate with ISPs and IT vendors for:
End‑user connectivity issues
Hardware repair and service calls
Support IT activities during plant expansion, new user onboarding, or relocation.
IT Asset & Record Management
Maintain accurate records of:
Laptops, desktops, printers, and IT accessories
Perform asset tagging, allocation, movement tracking, and handover as per policy.
Support periodic asset verification and audits.
Maintain IT support logs and basic documentation related to incidents and assets.
Policy & Compliance
Follow all KP Group IT, Information Security, Safety, and Administrative Policies.
Ensure secure usage of IT systems and equipment within the manufacturing environment.
Support compliance with internal audits and governance requirements.
Required Technical Skills
Strong hands‑on experience in:
Desktop & laptop hardware troubleshooting
Windows OS and MS Office support
Basic working knowledge of:
LAN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP
Experience with:
Network and local printer support
Good documentation and coordination skills.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Diploma / Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Experience: 3–5 years in IT End User / Desktop Support, preferably in a Solar Park, Renewable Energies Park, manufacturing or plant environment, Greenfield or Brownfield Project Sites
