The opportunity

We are seeking an AI/GenAI Senior with 4–8 years of overall professional experience, including hands-on experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, RAG architectures, Conversational AI, AI agents, and enterprise AI solution delivery. The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of scalable AI solutions while working closely with architects, managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong technical execution, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into practical AI solution components. The candidate should have experience working on AI-powered solutions such as RAG applications, copilots, conversational AI platforms, knowledge management solutions, automation workflows, and AI agents, while following quality, security, Responsible AI, and performance guidelines.

The individual will support AI quality, validation, and operational readiness activities to help ensure reliable, secure, and scalable AI and GenAI implementations across client engagements.

Important: Hands-on experience contributing to AI solutions in enterprise, pre-production, or production environments is required. Certifications, personal projects, and demos alone are not sufficient.

Application Guidance: Candidates should be able to explain at least one or two AI/GenAI implementations, including the business use case, their contribution, technical approach, and outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI, GenAI, RAG-based, conversational AI, and AI agent solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Work with architects, managers, and engineering teams to convert solution designs into scalable technical components and reusable implementation patterns.
• Develop and support RAG pipelines, prompt workflows, knowledge retrieval mechanisms, integrations, APIs, and automation components for AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, application developers, and business teams to deliver AI solution features and resolve technical issues.
• Support AI solution lifecycle activities, including requirement understanding, design support, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Implement AI evaluation, validation, guardrails, quality checks, and performance tuning under the guidance of senior architects or project leads.
• Follow Responsible AI, data privacy, security, compliance, and risk management practices while building and deploying AI solutions.
• Work with enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, vector databases, and related modern AI frameworks.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation notes, test results, solution walkthroughs, and status updates for internal and client stakeholders.
• Stay current with developments in GenAI, AI agents, multimodal AI, RAG patterns, prompt engineering, and enterprise AI platforms.

Skills and Attributes:

Professional Experience

• 4–8 years of overall experience, including hands-on exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, data engineering, cloud-based AI platforms, or enterprise application development.
• Practical experience contributing to AI, GenAI, Copilot, Conversational AI, Agentic AI, or RAG-based solutions in enterprise or client-facing environments.
• Hands-on understanding of one or more areas such as LLM application development, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, vector databases, AI evaluation, APIs, cloud deployment, MLOps, or LLMOps.
• Ability to work collaboratively with architects, managers, developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality AI solution components.
• Exposure to enterprise AI platforms such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, vector databases, or related AI ecosystems is preferred.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Large Language Models, Generative AI, RAG architectures, prompt engineering, conversational AI, and AI agents.
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting GenAI applications, copilots, chatbots, knowledge search solutions, AI agents, or automation workflows.
• Experience with AI platforms and tools such as Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, vector databases, enterprise search, orchestration frameworks, and APIs.
• Ability to build or support retrieval pipelines, embeddings, prompt workflows, data ingestion, model integration, and application integration.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, guardrails, hallucination checks, quality metrics, observability, security, privacy, and Responsible AI practices.
• Working knowledge of software engineering practices, cloud deployment, APIs, databases, version control, CI/CD, MLOps, or LLMOps concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues, optimize performance, document implementation details, and support production or pre-production AI solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into practical AI solution components.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, project leads, and business stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities:

• Support delivery of AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and RAG solutions from design support through development, testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Contribute to reusable components, accelerators, implementation templates, and solution documentation for AI engagements.
• Support testing, validation, monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.
• Assist project leads in preparing technical updates, demos, walkthroughs, estimates, and delivery status inputs.
• Guide junior team members where required and actively participate in capability building across the AI practice.
