UK Tax Trainee

Personal Tax

• Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns for HNWIs, directors, and sole traders.
  
• Advise on income tax, capital gains tax, residence and domicile issues, and inheritance tax planning.
  

Corporate Tax

• Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for SMEs, owner-managed businesses, and larger corporate clients.
  
• Support corporate restructuring, R&D tax relief, and other advisory projects.
  

Trust Tax

• Prepare annual trust tax returns (SA900) and supporting accounts.
  
• Advise on trust structures, inheritance tax implications, and compliance with UK trust reporting requirements.
  

General Duties

• Handle client queries and provide accurate, timely advice.
  
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
  
• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve tax issues or disputes.
  
• Supervise and support junior staff and review their work as needed.
  
• Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities and business development initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Experience:
  
  Fresher with Accounting experience and passion to build career in UK Tax.
  

• Qualifications:
  
  B.com, MCom, CA Fresher, ACCA Fresher 
  

• Software
  
  Excel, Word, Outlook
  

• Communication
  
  Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical matters clearly to clients.
  

• Organisational Skills:
  
  Strong time management and prioritisation skills to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Client-Focused:
  
  Proven ability to build relationships with clients and deliver high levels of service.
