Job Description
Location: Adajan, Surat, Gujarat (on-site)
Salary: ₹8–9 LPA (based on experience)
Work Hours: US shift, 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST
It has grown 200% in headcount over the past year and shows no signs of slowing down. Its a fast-growing international company in the home décor e-commerce space, spanning both B2B and B2C channels across 5–6 different consumer brands, including premium canvas wall art and handcrafted wooden wall art with personalized signs. The team includes around 200 people in the US and 13–15 people at its Surat, Gujarat office, plus a distributed remote team, with its own production house and manufacturing facility in Surat.
The Role
This is a high-ownership opportunity for a senior accounting professional who wants to run the full accounting cycle, not just support it. As our clients Senior US Accountant, youll own general ledger accounting, AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close for a fast-growing, multi-brand US e-commerce business, working from Surat during US business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger and ensure accurate, audit-ready financial records in
QuickBooks
- Review and approve customer invoicing
Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), including aging analysis and collections
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), vendor invoice review, and payment scheduling
- Lead bank and account reconciliations
- Manage financial reporting and month-end close
- Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and audit-complian
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4-5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Strong understanding of US accounting principles and financial reporting practices
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory)
- Comfortable working US shift hours (4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST)
- Prior experience working with US-based companies or clients
