We are hiring for the position of Section Engineer-QA/QC.

Responsibilities:

• Review and ensure implementation of detailed QA/QC Plans across all project phases within the assigned packages.
• Monitor and review QA/QC plans of other contractors, ensuring alignment and compliance (as applicable).
• Establish and standardize QA/QC procedures, systems, and tools across the project.
• Ensure compliance with requirements of multilateral and bilateral funding agencies (where applicable).
• Support NHSRCL in obtaining necessary statutory approvals (as applicable).
• Conduct inspections of contractor works to verify quality compliance.
• Monitor corrective actions and ensure closure of quality observations and non-conformities.
• Engineering Graduate/ Diploma.
• Engineering Graduate with 07 years, or Engineering Diploma with 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) /Quality Control (QC) during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)(i).
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC systems, ISO 9001 standards, and construction quality management procedures.
• Ability to review drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and test reports to ensure contractor compliance.
• Proficiency in conducting inspections, witnessing tests, and managing NCRs with effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including preparation of quality reports, dashboards, and compliance tracking.
• Effective coordination and communication skills to liaise with contractors, design teams, client representatives, and support audits.
