Job Description

We are looking for a Backend Engineer (SDE 1) with hands-on experience in Rust and Node.js to build scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to design and develop reliable APIs and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Rust and Node.js
• Build and maintain RESTful and WebSocket APIs
• Work on scalable and high-performance systems
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams for seamless integration
• Optimize application performance, latency, and reliability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
  
  

• Strong experience in Node.js and basic to intermediate knowledge of Rust (or willingness to learn)
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB / PostgreSQL / MySQL
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
• Basic understanding of Docker is a plus
• BE/BTech in Computer Science / IT

• Familiarity with Redis or caching mechanisms
