Job Description – Delivery Executive / Delivery Boy

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Executive with around 1 year of experience to handle the safe and timely delivery of products/materials to customers and designated locations. The candidate should have good knowledge of local routes and be able to maintain delivery-related documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products/materials to customers and designated locations safely and on time.
  
• Collect and verify delivery documents, invoices, and delivery challans.
  
• Ensure the products are handled carefully during transportation.
  
• Collect customer signatures/acknowledgements after delivery.
  
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team regarding deliveries.
  
• Maintain daily delivery records and submit required documents.
  
• Inform the supervisor about delivery delays, damages, or other issues.
  
• Collect payments from customers, if applicable, and submit them to the concerned department.
  
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition and report any maintenance requirements.
  
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely completion of deliveries.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in delivery, logistics, or a similar role.
  
• Valid two-wheeler/four-wheeler driving license, as applicable.
  
• Good knowledge of local routes and locations.
  
• Basic communication and customer-handling skills.
  
• Basic knowledge of smartphones, GPS, and navigation applications.
  
• Ability to handle delivery documents and maintain basic records.
  
• Willingness to travel locally as required.
