Job Description

The Bhumi Fellowship is a learning and development journey for young change-makers with a passion for committing to educational equity in the long term. The program currently has 32 fellows in Chennai, working with over 5,500 children in over 30 schools. In 2023, we aim to recruit at least 100 fellows in two cities.

The Manager - Recruitment, Bhumi Fellowship will manage the execution of the entire Fellowship selection process (including recruitment and selections) through key partnerships for recruiting exceptional candidates for Bhumi Fellowship. 

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Developing and executing Recruitment & Selection strategy to attract the best talent for the Bhumi Fellowship through internal and external collaborations/partnerships
  
• Independently owning the strategy execution and achieving recruitment targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
  
• Collaborating and strengthening relationships with colleges/universities, corporates and relevant institutions 
  
• Managing and coaching team members to ambitious outcomes 
  
• Ability to gather and analyse data to inform decisions 
  

Preferred Education Qualification / Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in managing a team (Essential)
  
• 1 to 2 years of Sales/BD/promotional Experience in the education segment (mainly with colleges)
  
• Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Willing to travel extensively 
  
• Graduate/Post Graduate degree in any discipline
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to invest in stakeholders and build partnerships
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil.
  
• Data analysis and interpretation. Good command of MS Excel.
  
• High emotional maturity 
  
• Highly resourceful team player who is also self-driven
  
• A forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  

Other Information:

• Scope: Full-time
  
• Remuneration: 8,00,000 - 9,50,000 pa (Based on the candidates profile)
  
• Work experience : 3-5 years
  
• Expected Joining Date: Immediate
  
• Location: Chennai
  
• Minimum commitment: Two years
