Sourcing Manager

Hybrid Opportunity!

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to join our client’s team. In this role, you will play a key part in building and strengthening a global procurement framework aligned with corporate objectives and operational excellence. The position leads end‑to‑end product development and sourcing for assigned categories, driving day‑to‑day development decisions, managing timelines, and collaborating closely with vendors and cross‑functional teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to make a meaningful impact by optimizing sourcing strategies, strengthening supplier relationships, and delivering production‑ready products that meet design intent, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product development and sourcing for assigned categories, from concept through production readiness.
• Translate design vision into production‑ready product by partnering with Design, Merchandising, Planning, and Technical Design.
• Manage development timelines, samples, and PO readiness while resolving issues to protect cost, quality, and delivery.
• Drive fabric and material development, balancing aesthetics, performance, cost, and lead times through approval.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiations, and seasonal costing to support margin goals and sourcing strategy.
• Monitor vendor performance to reduce risk, delays, and rework.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment, clear communication, and calendar adherence.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to sourcing strategy, process improvements, and team leadership.

 Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in textile industry
• Experience working closely with Design teams while managing cost and budget expectations.
• Prior leadership or management experience in any industry (people management not required; category ownership is acceptable).
• Strong Excel skills and hands‑on experience using PLM and sourcing systems.
