Senior BIM Team Lead Mechanical Piping PandID

Sisco Jobs is actively recruiting on behalf of a premier client for a Senior BIM Team Lead – Mechanical / Piping / P&ID based in Trichy. In this full-time role, you will lead a dedicated team of Mechanical BIM Modelers, Piping Modelers, and P&ID CAD Drafters, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables. You will be the primary technical escalation point, troubleshooting Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks issues, routing piping systems, resolve clashes, and ensure alignment with LOD and BIM standards. Managing project timelines, daily tasks, and client/consultant coordination is critical. You will maintain strict quality control on drawings (including isometrics and GA), and ensure as-built requirements are met. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of piping/mechanical BIM experience, including 3+ years of team leadership, with excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills to drive success in international projects.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

8–12 years of relevant Mechanical / Piping BIM experience (preferred).

Minimum 3 years of proven BIM team leadership experience.

Advanced Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD 2D drafting proficiency.

Strong Navisworks Manage experience (AutoCAD Plant 3D is an advantage).

Expert knowledge of mechanical & industrial piping BIM modelling, P&ID interpretation, piping layouts, GA drawings, and isometric drawings.

Demonstrable experience in clash detection, multi-disciplinary coordination, and troubleshooting.

Proven experience handling international engineering projects is preferred.
