Medical Representative

We are looking for a results-driven and energetic Medical Representative with at least 2 years of field sales experience to join our pharma sales team in Trichy. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, building strong relationships with doctors, chemists, and stockists, and driving revenue growth across assigned territories in Trichy.

Key Responsibilities

• Doctor Detailing & Promotion: Call on targeted doctors, clinic visits, and healthcare professionals to detail pharmaceutical products, highlight therapeutic advantages, and secure prescriptions.
  

• Retail & Stockist Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with local retail chemists, stockists, and distributors in Trichy to ensure product availability and timely order execution.
  

• Territory Planning & Sales Targets: Plan daily/weekly field visit schedules to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  

• Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, new product launches, market trends, and pricing strategies in the region; provide weekly feedback to management.
  

• Reporting & CRM Updates: Maintain accurate daily visit reports (DVR), prescription tracking, and customer contact data using company reporting tools/CRM.
  

• Product Knowledge: Attend product training sessions, sales meetings, and medical conferences to continuously enhance technical knowledge and selling skills.
  

Requirements (Skills & Qualifications)

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Life Sciences (B.Sc), or related discipline. (Graduates in other fields with strong relevant experience will also be considered).
  

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Representative in pharmaceutical sales (preferably in the Trichy/Tamil Nadu territory).
  

• Language Skills: Fluency in Tamil (essential for local field operations) and working knowledge of English.
  

• Relationship Management: Proven ability to build trusted relationships with doctors, hospital staffs, and pharmacy retailers.
  

• Travel & Mobility: Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and personal vehicle for local travel in and around Trichy.
  

• Core Competencies: Excellent communication, persuasive negotiation, strong time management, and target-driven mindset.
