Job Brief:- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a seasoned professional to lead and expand our government business portfolio within the financial services sector. This role demands a strategic and relationship-driven individual who will act as the primary liaison between the bank and various government entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing government accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks. This position requires a deep understanding of government procurement processes, financial products tailored for public sector needs, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments to drive sustainable growth and strengthen the bank's presence in the government segment.

Responsibilities:-

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government departments, agencies, and public sector organizations to promote the bank’s financial products and services.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government sector to achieve targeted growth and revenue objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to tailor financial solutions that meet the specific needs and compliance requirements of government clients.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including proposal development, negotiation, and closure of government contracts and agreements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to government procurement policies, regulatory guidelines, and internal compliance standards throughout all transactions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, government policies, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and business development plans.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on government business performance, pipeline status, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including credit, legal, and operations to facilitate smooth onboarding and servicing of government accounts.
  • Represent the bank at government forums, industry events, and stakeholder meetings to enhance brand visibility and foster partnerships.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes related to government business acquisition and client servicing.
