Anglicare is launching an exciting new Affordable Food Pantry trial, supporting individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Coordinator to help establish, stabilise and deliver this important program.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead operational setup and early delivery of the pantry trial
- Develop procedures, workflows and safe operating systems
- Recruit, train and supervise volunteers
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Manage procurement, stock levels and inventory
- Ensure safe food handling and compliance
- Oversee customer experience to ensure dignity and respect
- Support community engagement and referrals
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in community services, food relief, retail, hospitality or logistics
- Experience supervising volunteers or staff
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lead in a fast‑paced operational environment
- Confidence with stock control and purchasing systems
- A compassionate, person‑centered approach
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- NSW Working with Children Check & National Police check
