Job Description

Oil & Gas SME

Location :- PAN India CG location

Experience :- 10-15+ years

• In this role, you will:
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for upstream (exploration, drilling, production), midstream (pipelines, logistics), and downstream (refining, distribution) operations.
• You will bridge industry business requirements with fit-for-purpose technology solutions, bringing deep operational expertise and strategic insight to support solution development, presales activities, and project delivery.
• Provide strategic guidance for digital transformation programs across Oil & Gas value chains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify operational challenges and translate them into technology-enabled solutions.
• Support solution architecture teams in designing integrated solutions across production systems, asset management, process automation, and digital oilfield platforms.
• Advise on emerging technologies including AI/ML, IoT, cloud, automation, analytics, and edge computing for Oil & Gas applications.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and process mapping exercises with business and operations teams.
• Contribute domain expertise to RFP responses, proposals, client presentations, and presales engagements.
• Support end-to-end project delivery by providing domain guidance during scoping, design, testing, deployment, and adoption phases.
• Ensure solutions align with industry regulations, operational safety requirements, and Oil & Gas best practices.
• Work closely with drilling, reservoir, production, HSE, supply chain, and field operations teams to drive business outcomes.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, training programs, and capability-building initiatives for internal teams and customers.
• Support the development of Oil & Gas competencies, frameworks, and reusable solution assets.
  
  

Your Profile:

• 10-15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry across operational, consulting, digital transformation, or technology-enabled roles.
• Strong understanding of upstream, midstream, and downstream business processes and operations.
• Experience with exploration, drilling, production operations, reservoir management, refining processes, and logistics workflows.
• Familiarity with industry platforms and solutions such as Digital Oilfield, SCADA, DCS, Asset Performance Management, and Production Management Systems.
• Experience supporting automation, digital transformation, cloud, analytics, AI/ML, or IoT initiatives within Oil & Gas environments.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior business leaders, technical architects, and delivery teams.
• Experience working with global Oil & Gas operators, EPC organizations, or service companies is preferred
• Willingness to travel for customer engagements, workshops, and field visits as required.
