Job Description

Knowldge of various casting & gardes with detail hands on ASTM /DIN/ISO standard knowledge
Shall able to guide supplier on various machining process to eliminate diamentional issue.
Work with suppliers to optimize casting and machining processes for quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
Assist suppliers in implementing effective process control measures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), First Article Inspection (FAI), and process validation for casting and machining operations.
1st sample approval along with PPAP documentation
Lead root cause analysis investigations when defects or non-conformance are detected in cast and machined parts (using tools like 5 Whys, 8D, Fishbone diagrams, FMEA).
Conduct regular reviews and training with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Perform SQIP audit and ensure closure of all observations
Prepare Monthly MIS.
Candidate with Pump/Motor background will be added advantage

Skill -

NDT- UT/PT/RT/VT Level II
Knowledge of steel and CI casting and process
ASTM/DIN/ISO standards.
PPAP, 8D, CED, RCA.
Supplier Audits & Trainings
Sound soft skills.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
7-10 Years of experinece in supplier Quality.
