ARCHITECTURE ENGINEER

Description Of The Position & Main Missions

Within the Engineering Product performance Department of Sigmatech, international R&D Centre of OPmobility, you will be part of the Product Architect team responsible to :

• Manage the technical content of acquisition phase.
• Provide Engineering technical support during development to the project team
• Participate to Product Lines Best Practices Deployments
• Acquisition technical documents + OPTIMAP work packages
  
  

• Manage OEM & internal technical interfaces
• Collect and Analyse Customer Needs
• Define technical assumptions based on Division standards
• Identify & propose product challenges to be more competitive
• Obtain & coordinate technical inputs from the “métiers” (expertise fields)
• Attend to the milestones and argue the technical choices.
• Provide to Advanced project teams the product inputs.
• Built up the technical file summarizing product assumptions (OEM inputs, diversity, definition, tool options, logistic, process, quality, planning, patents, benchmark and innovations)
• Consolidate the risk analysis with Quality department
  
  

• Bring technical support to Engineering Project Manager regarding the technical choices
• Bring technical support and do the technical analysis in case of big issues
• At M1 milestone, transfer the project data and backgrounds to the nominated project team.
• Participate and validate the product design during Design Reviews and Quad Reviews
• At the end of the project, participate to the lessons learned built up.
  
  

• Participate to the project follow up during production phase: technical support, productivity, optimisation and capitalization.
  
  

• Define product design standards; product offer
• Improve Product Competitiveness
• Support Division Roadmap
  
  

• Interface with innovation to define product specification to perform
  
  

• Bachelor’s in engineering with experience or Master degree
• Previous experience on the Product Development (design/tuning, OEM interface)
• 10 years of experience
• Experience in Tailgate
• Fluent English required.
