Job Summary

Senior Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. This position involves designing and executing test strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. The role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

• Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms.
• Lead integration, system, performance, and security testing efforts.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and document issues using bug tracking systems.
  
  

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts (e.g., SEAT, Cypress, Karate).
• Integrate automated testing into UTP.
  
  

• Work closely with Business Analyst and developers to understand requirements and align testing efforts.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on software features.
• Interact with product owners to understand testing needs and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
  
  

• Mentor junior test engineers and promote best practices.
• Lead testing teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  
  

• Drive innovation in testing methodologies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Banking software testing, including automation.
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Karate), defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  
  

• Maternity leave: Transition back with 3 days per week in the first month and 4 days per week in the second month
