Job Responsibilities

  • Work to collect sustainability data, complete analysis, and visualize results to drive understanding in support of company goals and reporting requirements
  • Assist in the development, evolution and implementation of reporting systems, including understanding global reporting requirements to ensure compliance
  • Partner with internal functions, including Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Human Resources and Legal to ensure timely collection of data and compilation into audit-friendly formats
  • Contribute to key sustainability projects including a strong focus on meeting emissions reduction target
  • Research, analyze and support customer-specific strategies regarding sustainability policies and activities including their supply chain management
  • Support customer inquiries about environmental data and impact
  • Support colleagues in customer-facing engagements to demonstrate progress against mutual goals
  • Contribute to the development of training resources for both internal stakeholders on data collection and analysis best practices

Summary

The Sustainability Analyst role requires strong skills in data gathering, manipulation and analysis, interpersonal communication and time management. This role will work directly with corporate sustainability team members to develop and implement environment, social, and governance (ESG) strategies and initiatives. In addition to supporting ratings agency submissions, customer questionnaires, existing and upcoming regulations (local, regional and global), the Sustainability Analyst will be required to complete greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories in partnership with business stakeholders, verification and validation, inform climate action and sustainability plans with a data-driven approach, all performed consistent within the Syneos Health quality control standards.
