Community Health Worker

The Swasthya Sakhi will serve as a link between the community and the healthcare system, supporting individuals and families in accessing appropriate healthcare services. The role involves community outreach, basic health screening and awareness, facilitating telemedicine consultations, supporting referrals, follow-up of patients, and promoting healthy behaviors.

Requirements

Prior Experience:

• 1-5 years of experience in community health, field outreach, healthcare, social work, or patient support is preferred.
  
• Experience in SHG or community mobilization preferred
  
• Experience in community/public health programs preferred
  

Educational Qualification: 

• 10th / 12th pass or equivalent.
  
• ANM, ASHA, GNM, community health worker, or other relevant healthcare/community-health experience will be an advantage.
  

Skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to communicate effectively with community members.
  
• Basic understanding of healthcare and community health.
  
• Basic digital literacy and ability to use a smartphone/WhatsApp/apps.
  
• Ability to document information accurately.
  
• Empathy, patience, and respectful behavior.
  
• Ability to work independently in the community.
  
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
  
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and Good observation and escalation skills.
