Commercial Executive

The opportunity

You will be involved in overall Project & order Execution plan covering all financial, commercial and tax aspects for domestic & export invoices in line with customer PO terms & conditions. Ensure commercial & tax documents preparation, revenue recognition, maintain billing plan, secure payment, compliance with GST and other indirect taxes, compliance with export documentation requirements etc.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will be involved in overall Project & order Execution plan covering all financial, commercial and tax aspects for domestic & export invoices in line with customer PO terms & conditions. Ensure commercial & tax documents preparation, revenue recognition, maintain billing plan, secure payment, compliance with GST and other indirect taxes, compliance with export documentation requirements etc.
• Carry out project invoicing and make liquidation plan of Outstanding collections, resolve tax issues, co-ordinate for creation of bonds and guarantees as per customer contract requirements, coordinate for financial accounting and reporting of revenue & collections together with Project Managers and preparation of various Financial MIS, and circulation to team (upstream towards the management and downstream towards Project team members and various functions) to make the team aware of the financial performance and desired actions for project accounting/financials/invoicing.
• Perform Invoicing and ensure maintaining documentation by internal coordination with taxation, logistics, stores etc. Project cost status updates and monitoring (actual costs, committed costs, estimated costs at completion, variation orders, invoicing to customers, cash-in, cash-out, bank bonds etc.), for internal Project Reviews.
• You will promote commercial awareness in the project team and provide commercial input to the project execution plan, support for claim management, insurance cases and make follow up together with the Project Manager upstream (towards customer), as well as downstream within value chain for KPI monitoring.
• You will follow-up on internal project audit reports and ensure timely implementation of all required actions related to projects under responsibility, responsible for adherence to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, business specific directives and instructions, drive, setting up and closure of all taxation matters pending against projects along with project manager and responsible for closing all taxation documentation of projects.
• Closely monitors Order booking, Revenue recognition as per IFRS policy based on Inco Terms, Collection & operational Cash flow. Receivables monitoring and follow up.
• Commercial knowledge & handling of LC, bank guarantee, MIS etc. TDS/TCS Accounting /Reconciliation. Working with external teams like Tax, Cost & Statutory auditors and resolving queries as per company requirement.
• Communication with internal stakeholders. Ensure timely, effective and efficient communication with relevant counter functions like store, planning, engineering, quality etc. Close coordination with inter-function for solving NCR, export documents, logistics, invoicing, taxation etc.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Candidate should hold a degree in B. COM / M.COM / MBA Finance / PG Finance/accounting with 5+ years of experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results, in the areas of invoicing, export documentation, taxation, LC, MIS reporting and accounting. At least 3 years of experience in project/manufacturing unit.
• Strong hand on knowledge on SAP / S4HANA and working on MS-EXCEL
• Partner with the project management team to develop both long term and short-term billing, accounting and receivable plan.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
