Hitachi Energy is seeking candidates to join the Hub Marketing and Sales team. The Non-Utility Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) will collaborate closely with the entire sales and marketing community across Latin America, while functionally reporting to the HUB Marketing and Sales Manager.
As a BDM, you will play a crucial role in driving growth within non-traditional and high-potential market segments by promoting and selling the HE portfolio. Your focus will be on meeting and exceeding annual sales targets while securing long-term expansion aligned with the HUB SAM growth ambition plan.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional experiences, fostering retention, securing repeat business, and aligning our business unit with market needs and trends.
Develop, implement, and oversee business expansion strategies by setting clear goals, creating actionable plans, and tracking progress.
Organize business development meetings and interactions with prospective customers to promote the companys value proposition.
Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, assess customer needs, and evaluate business risks.
Gather and translate market insights by engaging with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive internal innovation.
Negotiate contract terms with customers and effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
Establish and manage strategic partnerships to support business growth and long-term success.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Proven experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical expertise in Transformers, ideally with international experience across diverse customers and product standards.
Ability to build rapport, take risks, embrace challenges, and maintain a forward-thinking mindset.
10+ years of experience in technical roles within the Energy and Industrial market segments.
Customer-focused, problem-solving mindset with a service-oriented approach.
Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills.
Strategic and analytical thinking ability.
