BUSINESS UNIT

TravelTech enables travelers to search and book hotel and meeting room content via modern SAAS booking portals and APIs. Our mission is to provide high quality content and an outstanding user experience to the traveler on the one side and compliance and cost savings for the cooperate travel programs on the other side.

POSITION

We are looking for a (Senior) DevOps Engineer (all genders) who loves building top notch SAAS products and at the same time create infrastructure, tools, templates, and many more that enable colleagues to ship value at unprecedented speed to customers. You will work on one of our core SAAS systems utilizing state of the art technology.

CHALLENGE

• Be part of a team to develop and deploy the Backend applications on AWS cloud architecture using Java and relevant technologies.
• Define and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IAC), improve Cl/CD pipeline, ensure scalability and availability of the system, build a monitoring stack, and automate build, configuration, and deployment orchestration scripts, ...
• Utilize a broad toolset for DevOps/lnfra and leveraging variety of services from AWS
• Experience in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) desirable
• Leverage generative Al tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Code Whisperer, etc., to accelerate software delivery
• Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of all systems.
• Build and optimize Cl and CD for operation and deployment as automatically as possible.
• Building monitoring and observability environments and coach engineers on the team to observability practices; troubleshoot and manage all environments of the team.
• Work with the engineering team and take architectural decisions.
• Have knowledge of AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), network protocols and standards
  
  

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

• Bachelors Degree in any STEM course or related field
• 3+ years building cloud-based/cloud-native architecture on AWS.
• 1+ years development experience in Java, Python, Golang or similar programming languages
• 3+ years experience with multiple Infrastructures as Code (AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Terraform), Containerized Orchestration like Docker, Kubernetes
• 2+ years experience setting up and maintaining Cl/CD processes like GitHub Actions, Gitlab Pipelines and AWS CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CodeBuild.
• 2+ years Experience in software architecture: Monolithic, Microservice, REST API/ SOAP, GraphQL, CDN, etc....
• Understanding and experience with networking (TCP, UDP ...)
• 3+ years Experience with software delivery life cycle workflows and practices including: version control, Infrastructures as code, code documentation and reviews,
• Proactive and self-driven
• Experience building on a developer platform team where other engineers were your customers is a plus
• Fluency in English, spoken and written

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual or multi-year bonus.
