3D Modeling Team Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 3D Modeling Team Lead who has strong expertise in high-quality 3D asset creation for CGI and real-time workflows. The ideal candidate should have advanced modeling skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to optimize processes while maintaining top production quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the 3D modeling team to deliver high-quality assets on time.
• Create high-poly, highly detailed models for CGI workflows.
• Develop optimized low-poly models suitable for GLB / real-time pipelines.
• Understand client requirements clearly and create structured modeling guidelines for the team.
• Ensure quality control and maintain consistency across projects.
• Improve team skills, quality standards, and production efficiency.
• Implement process improvements and introduce workflow optimization strategies.
• Stay updated with and implement latest 3D AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Independently handle projects from requirement understanding to final delivery.
• Keep the team motivated and aligned with project goals.
  
  

• Strong expertise in any one (or more) of:
• Autodesk Maya
• Blender
• 3ds Max
• Advanced knowledge of:
• High-poly & detailed modeling (CGI pipeline)
• Low-poly optimization for GLB / real-time workflow
• Strong sculpting skills in ZBrush
• Knowledge of sculpting workflows (organic & hard surface)
• Basic working knowledge of Marvelous Designer (for cloth simulation)
• Understanding of topology, UV mapping, and model optimization
• Familiarity with latest AI-based 3D tools and automation workflows
  

• Strong team handling and mentoring skills
• Ability to improve team performance and quality benchmarks
• Strong communication skills (client-facing capability preferred)
• Ability to create SOPs and workflow documentation
• Problem-solving mindset
• Deadline-oriented and quality-focused
• Self-driven and capable of handling projects independently
  
  

• 4+ years of experience in 3D modeling
• 1–2 years of team leadership experience preferred
• Strong portfolio showcasing CGI and real-time assets
