Job Purpose

This position for the profile of Shift Engineer in Paint shop. It is basically a production engineer profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle shift production output for CED /Sheet Metal & Body Tractor Paint Line( Plan Vs Actual Achievement)
• Production Mgmt Interface w.r.t Paint Lines Capacities Mgmt / Meeting Tractor Assy Lines requirements w.r.t Painted Parts / managing Inventories on Production Lines .
• Planning & Mgmt of Paint Lines Shift resources w.r.t Productions requirements / Volumes Fluctuations
• Mgmt of Quality Inteface w.r.t Process Quality & Product Quality at different operations in Tractor & Axle Paint Lines .Managing Internal Quality Audits as PCPA/ CQA/ADPU/EOL Checks.
• Conduct Process and Product audit & validation as per schedule & mgmt Requirements.
• Monitor & analyze market / quality complaints / bench mark audit, plan & implement countermeasure actions.
• Monitor & control critical parameters of PT, 1K/2K/PU Painting /Top Coat Line.
• Monitor Paint & Chemical consumption /Consumables Consumptions /Energy Mapping & making & implementing cost reduction plans.
• Handling complete manpower deployment for the line with continues on job training for the operators with the help of modern tools & equipment’s.
• Monitor /Analyse / control painting defects/vehicle, by monitoring colourwise, painter wise & defect wise data.
• Documentation of Quality Systems viz ISO 9001, 14001 , World Class Manufacturing etc.

BE/B.tech - Chemical/Mechanical
