Speciality Chemicals : The Specialty Chemical business of Jubilant Ingrevia manufactures Pyridine, Picolines and its forward integration derivatives, which finds application in agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, solvents, metal finishes, fine chemicals, semiconductors etc.

We have also launched new platform of Diketene & its value-added derivatives for multiple industry use. We are an established ‘partner of choice’ in CDMO, with more investment plans in GMP & Non-GMP multi-product facilities for Pharma, Agro and Semi-conductor customers.

Chemical Intermediates: The Chemical Intermediates business has acetic anhydride and value added anhydrides and aldehydes catering to various industries.

Nutrition & Health Solutions: The Nutrition & Heath Solutions business unit offers B3 & Picolinates (Chromium & Zinc) which are fully backward integrated. Our ingredients find application in animal nutrition, human nutrition, personal care, etc. We provide high-quality feed & food additives having application in poultry, dairy, aqua & pet food industry. Job Summary

As a Group Leader, the role involves providing comprehensive analytical support across product development, customer engagement, and internal operations. Key responsibilities include preparing regulatory and technical documentation, developing and validating analytical methods, and supporting cross-functional teams. The position also oversees laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with EHS standards, efficient asset utilization, and instrument calibration.

Key Responsibilities

• Method Development & Verification
• Lead the team in developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods for a diverse range of products.
• Ensure all methods are accurate, reliable, and thoroughly verified with proper documentation.
• Cross-Functional Analytical Support
• Act as the key analytical resource for R&D, QA/QC, Production, and Regulatory teams.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to address analytical challenges and support strategic decision-making.
• Analytical Documentation & Customer Support
• Oversee the preparation of analytical documents, including REACH reports and customer-facing data.
• Coordinate R&D sample dispatches and provide analytical support to business teams for customer queries and product presentations.
• Laboratory Operations & Compliance
• Manage laboratory budgets, assets, and ensure timely calibration and maintenance of instruments such as HPLC.
• Uphold EHS compliance, implement 5S practices, and maintain high standards of lab housekeeping.
• Training & Skill Development
• Organize internal and external training programs to enhance team capabilities and technical expertise.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and maintain comprehensive records of skill development activities
  
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in analytical method development, validation, and laboratory operations.
• Familiarity with REACH regulations and technical documentation standards.
• Experience working with analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, etc.
  
  
  

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and method development.
• Strong experience in handling team
• Documentation & Compliance: Proficiency in preparing regulatory documents and ensuring compliance with EHS and quality standards.
• Instrument Handling: Hands-on experience in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab instruments.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with R&D, QA/QC, production, and business teams.
• Training & Development: Capability to conduct technical training and promote skill enhancement within the team.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
