Job Purpose

• Management of Mechanical Clusters – Gears & Shafts, Driveshafts, etc.
• Supplier base thru New Sourcing, Cost reduction, Capacity planning, Part improvement programs, Supplier Consolidation & exploring new reliable suppliers as per strategy
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier selection, negotiation, contract establishment in line with local/global strategy for new model/current product parts within target cost and time
• Manage RFQ process, present Pre-RFQ, Commercial negotiation and recommendation in global sourcing table according to defined DoA to establish business contract
• Annual cost negotiations (YOY, RM fluctuations, commercial cost reduction etc) and support TCR initiatives
• Managing material cost including raw material, economics, productivity etc.
• Monitor, manage, and address the risks of supply base in delivery, finance & capacity
  
  

Experience Required

10 - 15 yrs of similar industry experience in Purchasing, industrial functions

Preferred Qualifications

B.E./Btech(Regular) / Diploma + BE/Btech(Distance) - Mechanical
