External Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze production reports and prepare daily as well as short-term production plans for major production blocks.
• Monitor production performance and generate daily operational reports.
• Ensure strict adherence to Safety, Quality, and APQS (Asian Paints Quality System) requirements while planning and executing activities.
• Coordinate availability of raw materials, intermediates, and packing materials to support uninterrupted production.
• Track key performance parameters and proactively communicate critical concerns highlighted by Central Planning or Plant Management.
• Prepare and submit fortnightly and monthly production performance reports to the Central Planning team.
• Collaborate closely with Standardization, Central Planning, Vendors, Costing, and Plant teams to ensure effective coordination and seamless execution of production plans.
• Support inventory management, stock reconciliation, and physical stock-taking activities to maintain planning accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement in production planning processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and resource utilization.
  
  

• Knowledge of SAP (PM/MM) or similar ERP systems.
• Understanding of Materials Management, Inventory Control, Stock Accounting, Warehousing, Transportation & Logistics Management.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling preferred.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and quality parameters.
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong team orientation, problem-solving ability, and negotiation skills.
