Junior Shift Superintendent

Main responsibilities:

• Identify and monitor issues arising in the production process and related to quality.
• Ensure proper use of production equipment.
• Prepare reports for the Production Manager on material consumption, output, and production indicators during the shift.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of the plant during the assigned shift.
• Properly hand over the shift to the next team with detailed information.
• Ensure the safety of plant employees.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
• Monitor, together with process controllers, the stable operation of the kiln, heat exchangers, cooler, clinker conveyor, bunkers, valves, and dampers.
• Supervise cleaning of the area during the shift with the help of subordinates or contractors.
• Supervise the safe cleaning of blockages in the main burner, heat exchangers, and kiln inlet during each shift.
• Carry out safe operations for cleaning cyclone blockages in case of clogging incidents in kiln cyclones.
• Prepare (fill) and install cordex and carry out blasting operations where required.
• Have full knowledge of and strictly comply with the company’s occupational health and safety (HSE) rules to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
