This isnt just classroom help:it is an opportunity psychological principles in a real:world setting, supporting students aged 11:16 with complex neurodivergent profiles, including Autism, sensory processing needs, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges.

The Role: Behavioural and Developmental Support

As a member of our founding team, you will act as a bridge between education and therapy. You will work within a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), putting theory into practice every day.

Applied Behavioural Support: Utilise positive reinforcement and de:escalation strategies to help students regulate their emotions.

Neurodiversity Advocacy: Apply your understanding of social communication and sensory processing to adapt environments for individual student profiles.

Data and Observation: Assist in monitoring student progress, providing qualitative feedback that informs Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and therapeutic interventions.

Relational Approach: Build secure attachments with students, using trauma:informed practices to foster a safe learning environment.

What We Are Looking For

Educational Background: Experience working in schools with young people with Special Educational Needs. A degree in Psychology would be an advantage.

Analytical Mindset: An interest in understanding the why behind behaviour and the patience to implement long:term developmental strategies.

Resilience: The ability to remain calm and objective in challenging or high:arousal situations.
