We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Goring Vets. If you have an eye for detail, are brilliant with people and passion for client care then we would love to hear from you! The role will be mainly at our Goring Practise with once a week being at Burghfield. We have an incredibly supportive team who life up each other to reach individual goals and team ones which as allowed us to gain awards such as BVA Great Workplace and our RCVS Knowledge award.

Location: Goring Vets (with a day a week in Burghfield Vets)

Contract: Full Time 40 hrs per week or Two Part time

Hours: Five days a week with one in 6 Saturdays

Shift Pattern: TBC

About The Role

Day-to-day Duties Of The Role Will Include

• Answering phones and booking appointments
• Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
• Registering new clients
• Completing insurance forms
• Dispensing medications
• Taking payments
• Talking through insurance
• And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
  
  

• Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
• Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
• An excellent communicator with strong empathy
• Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
• A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
