As a Music Copyright Associate, you’ll explore YouTube to spot unlicensed songs, remixes, and soundtracks. Protect artists’ rights, place accurate claims, and ensure creators get paid ,all while staying on top of trending music and viral hits. This is your chance to combine your passion for music with a dynamic, fast-paced role that makes a real impact in the digital music world.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and claim client assets in YouTube videos using your aural skills and place precise claims.
• Ensure all actions align strictly with YouTube’s latest copyright policies and internal guidelines.
• Deep-dive into music databases to verify composers and ownership.
• Work closely with your supervisors to report trends, catalog discrepancies, and claiming strategies.
• Drive revenue accumulation through meticulous asset management.
  
  

• GCE A/Ls or GCE O/L with a certificate / diploma level qualification
• Good communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
• Ability to contribute to consistent and substantial revenue accumulation through accurate claims.
• Strong skills in identifying music assets and verifying copyright ownership through listening and research.
• Proficient aural and research skills to identify client’s assets correctly and efficiently.
• Extreme attention to detail and accuracy when following operational procedures and policies.
• Positive attitude and a pleasant personality.
• Familiarity with client account specifics and YouTube’s content claiming policies and procedures.
• Good command in MS Office, G Suite, and basic computer fundamentals.
• Ability to listen to music and watch YouTube videos for long hours.
