Our Early Intervention Center is a multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation setup dedicated to comprehensive assessment, intervention, and family-centered care for children with neurodevelopmental disorders from 0–13 years of age.

The center functions with an expert multidisciplinary team comprising:

* Doctors-Rehab Physician

* Speech Language Pathologists

* Physiotherapists

* Occupational Therapists

* Clinical Psychologists

* Special Educators                                                   

*  Developmental Therapists

We provide evidence-based, child-centered intervention for children with:

* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

* Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

* Cerebral Palsy

* Global Developmental Delay (GDD)

* Speech & Language Disorders

* Genetic Conditions including Down Syndrome

* Feeding & Swallowing Difficulties

* Other Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)-Role Overview

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, intervention planning, therapy implementation, caregiver counseling, and multidisciplinary coordination for children with communication, speech, language, feeding, and social interaction difficulties.

The position offers extensive clinical exposure in pediatric neurodevelopmental rehabilitation with opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, advanced therapeutic approaches, academic discussions, and community outreach program.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assessment & Evaluation

* Conduct detailed speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing assessments

* Identify receptive and expressive language difficulties

* Assess articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, and social communication skills

* Evaluate prelinguistic and pre-communication skills in young children

* Perform oral motor and feeding assessments

* Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans

2. Therapy & Intervention

Provide evidence-based intervention including:

Speech & Language Therapy

* Language stimulation therapy

* Receptive and expressive language intervention

* Articulation and phonological therapy

* Fluency shaping and stuttering intervention

* Pragmatic and social communication training

 

Feeding & Oral Placement Therapy

* Oral motor stimulation

* Feeding intervention for sensory and motor feeding difficulties

* Oral Placement Therapy (OPT) approaches using specialized feeding kits and tools

 

AAC & Communication Support

* Use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems

* PECS/AWAS and picture-based communication systems

* Visual schedules and communication aids

 

Technology-Assisted Therapy

* Therapy through game-oriented digital applications

* Use of immersive and semi-immersive therapy environments

* Virtual reality-based engagement activities for communication and interaction enhancement

 

3. Multidisciplinary Coordination

* Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, doctors, and developmental therapists

* Participate in interdisciplinary case planning and goal setting

* Contribute to holistic rehabilitation planning and outcome monitoring

 

4. Parent Counseling & Family Training

* Conduct parent guidance and counseling sessions

* Educate caregivers regarding home-based language stimulation and communication strategies

* Train families in feeding techniques, behavior support, and AAC usage

* Support family-centered intervention approaches

5. Academic & Professional Activities

* Participate in weekly academic discussions and case presentations

* Attend multidisciplinary clinical reviews and team meetings

* Engage in evidence-based learning and skill enhancement activities

* Opportunity for exposure to advanced pediatric rehabilitation practices

6. Community Outreach & Awareness Programs

* Participate in developmental screening camps and awareness programs

* Involve in community-based rehabilitation initiatives

* Conduct parent education sessions and public awareness activities related to speech, language, autism, and developmental disorders
