Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chartered Accountant for a full-time, on-site / hybrid role based in Ranchi / Hyderabad. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Key responsibilities include processing transactions, reconciling accounts, generating financial reports, and providing support for audits. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure accurate financial management.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Management
• Strong skills in Compliance, Taxation, and Regulatory Reporting
• Experience with Auditing and Analysis of Financial Data
• Competency in Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Cost Control
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent will be an advantage
• Experience working in the retail or e-commerce industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee company accounts, books, and financial statements
• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing
• Manage cash flows, working capital, and internal financial controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Handle ROC / MCA compliances including filings, annual returns, and resolutions
• Oversee GST compliance: returns, reconciliations, audits, and notices
• Manage Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable statutory obligations
• Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
• Support leadership on financial structuring, compliance decisions, and risk management
• Ensure corporate governance standards are followed consistently
• Assist in internal audits and compliance reviews
• Engage with key / VVIP clients where financial or compliance expertise is required
• Provide advisory support related to accounting, taxation, or regulatory interpretation
• Act as a trusted financial point of contact when needed
