Job Description

The Relationship Manager – LAP is responsible for sourcing and acquiring customers for Loan Against Property products, building strong customer relationships, and achieving business targets through effective sales and portfolio management. The role involves identifying customer funding requirements, evaluating eligibility, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth loan processing and disbursement.

Responsibilities

Source and acquire new customers for Loan Against Property (LAP) business.
Generate leads through market mapping, channel partners, referrals, builders, DSAs, and direct sales activities.
Understand customer financial requirements and recommend suitable lending solutions.
Collect and verify customer documentation required for loan processing.
Coordinate with Credit, Legal, Technical, Operations, and Risk teams for timely sanction and disbursement.
Manage end-to-end customer relationship from sourcing to disbursement.
Achieve monthly and annual business targets for loan acquisition and portfolio growth.
Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and process adherence.
Maintain portfolio quality and support collection efforts, if required.
Cross-sell CASA, Insurance, Credit Cards, and other banking products to existing customers.

Qualifications

Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
2-8 years of experience in LAP, Mortgage Loans, Home Loans, Business Loans, or secured lending products.
Strong understanding of property-backed lending and credit processes.
Good networking and relationship management skills.
Proven track record in sales and target achievement.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
