Job Description
- Lead the Production Planning & Control function for the manufacturing facility.
- Develop and execute production planning strategies aligned with project delivery timelines.
- Drive master production scheduling and capacity planning across operations.
- Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to committed schedules.
- Collaborate with Design, Procurement, Projects, Operations, and Quality teams for seamless execution.
- Optimise machine utilisation, manpower allocation, and production efficiency.
- Drive KPI-based performance reviews, bottleneck reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage inventory planning, ERP/MIS accuracy, and lead a high-performing PPC team.
- Experience: 13-20 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control.
- Industry Background: Experience in PEB, structural steel, steel fabrication, heavy engineering, manufacturing, or related industries preferred.
- Manufacturing Exposure: Experience in large-scale fabrication and project-driven manufacturing environments is desirable.
- Systems Knowledge: Strong expertise in ERP systems, production scheduling, and MIS reporting.
- Core Skills: Production planning, capacity planning, inventory control, and manufacturing operations management.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Analytical Capability: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Lead the complete Production Planning & Control function for a large-scale manufacturing facility with significant leadership responsibility.
