Ophthalmologist

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a recognized MD/MS in Ophthalmology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
  
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Phaco cataract surgery using topical anesthesia (TOPICAL PHECO).
  
• Preference for candidates with a fellowship or advanced training in Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma, or Oculoplasty.
  
• Proven track record of performing high-volume, high-quality cataract surgeries with excellent visual outcomes.
  
• Strong clinical judgment, surgical precision, and ability to manage complex and emergency cases independently.
  
• Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
  
• Proficiency in using modern diagnostic and surgical equipment, including OCT, ultrasound biomicroscopy, and phaco machines.
  
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and relevant state medical councils.
  
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous learning in ophthalmology.
