Qualifications And Skills
Retail Operations experience (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of store operations, including inventory, compliance, and process excellence within a retail environment.
Sales Management (Mandatory skill): Proven ability to set sales targets, monitor achievement, and design strategies to maximize store revenue and profitability.
Inventory Management (Mandatory skill): Advanced proficiency in maintaining accurate stock levels, managing replenishments, and reducing shrinkage for optimal inventory health.
Team Leadership: Strong ability to recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate diverse store teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high levels of staff engagement.
Customer Relationship Management: Skilled at building and maintaining lasting customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty programs are effectively executed.
Visual Merchandising: Proficient in implementing creative and attractive merchandising standards to enhance the store environment and boost customer appeal.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Capable of using sales data, performance metrics, and retail analytics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Problem Solving and Decision Making: Excellent judgement to handle operational challenges, resolve conflicts, and take timely business decisions to drive store success.
Roles And Responsibilities
Oversee the entire store operations, ensuring high standards across sales, service, merchandising, and store upkeep for optimal customer experience.
Drive the achievement of sales targets, manage store budgets, monitor KPIs, and proactively implement plans for revenue growth and cost efficiency.
Coordinate all aspects of inventory management including receipts, storage, stock rotation, audits, and loss prevention measures.
Lead, coach, and develop the store team by setting objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering an atmosphere of continuous learning and motivation.
Ensure effective implementation of customer service protocols and handle escalations, feedback, and loyalty program initiatives to build enduring customer relationships.
Maintain compliance with all corporate policies, statutory regulations, and adherence to operational and visual standards of Reliance Retail.
Collaborate with visual merchandising teams to actively implement internal and promotional displays, keeping the store attractive and in tune with current trends.
Analyse store performance reports, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and make data-driven business decisions.
