Radiation Oncology Specialist


Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and emerging professional to join our Health Care team as a Radiation Oncology Specialist. This pivotal role focuses on delivering precise radiation therapy treatments to patients within the oncology department. Responsibilities

  • Assist senior oncologists and radiation therapists in the preparation and administration of radiation therapy sessions under strict supervision.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines regarding radiation exposure for both patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress and report any immediate changes in condition during treatment cycles.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient records, treatment logs, and clinical observations.
  • Support the setup and calibration of radiation equipment, ensuring all machinery operates within specified parameters.
  • Provide empathetic support and clear communication to patients and their families regarding treatment schedules and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training and educational sessions to stay current with advancements in radiation oncology practices.

Requirements

  • Experience: Candidates with 0-1 years of relevant experience in a clinical or healthcare setting are encouraged to apply.
  • Education: A degree in Medical Radiation Technology, Nursing, or a related Health Care field is required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of radiation safety principles and familiarity with oncology treatment workflows.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Certifications: Valid licensure or certification as required by local health authorities for entry-level positions in radiation oncology.
  • Salary Range: ₹250,000.00 to ₹300,000.00 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
