FT Assistant Childcare Teacher

Summary

We are looking for a reliable, kind, energetic person who LOVES children - and who wants to work as part of an amazing childcare center team! The position is full time, Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. We are looking for assistants for several different aged classrooms from infant through school age.

• Supervise children: Provide constant supervision during all activities, including playtime, transitions, meals, and nap time.
• Assist with daily routines: Help with basic needs like diapering, handwashing, and preparing/serving meals, depending on the age of the children in the classroom.
• Implement lesson plans: Assist the lead teacher in preparing and carrying out daily educational activities and lesson plans.
• Communicate: Maintain good communication with parents, guardians, and other staff members regarding childrens progress and any concerns.
• Support individual needs: Provide individual attention to children and help support their individual needs.
  
  

• At least 18 years old
• Willing to learn and be trained
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Able to bend, twist, sit on the floor, and lift up to 30 pounds
