We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VICE PRESIDENT to join our MODEL RISK MANAGEMENT team. This role is located in Pune, India.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Design, maintain, and govern model inventory data fields; establish and execute data quality controls and monitoring
Develop and deliver management reporting on model risk, leveraging model inventory and governance metrics
Coordinate the semi-annual model inventory attestation process, engaging attesters, reviewers, and model owners; track status and ensure timely completion
Maintain MRM documentation (Policies, Standards, procedures, templates) and manage version control and refresh cycles
Serve as a point of contact to provide interpretive guidance to stakeholders on compliance with MRM Framework requirements
Ensure effective processes and controls for prompt risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and tracking of issues related to model risk
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for managing model risk holistically, engaging proactively with control functions.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics, econometrics)
2-5 years of relevant experience in model risk governance, model validation, model risk audit within financial services
Knowledge of regulatory expectations related to model risk management and governance
Familiarity with model lifecycle processes
Strong communication skills, with ability to convey complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Proven ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
