Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author/Writer responsible for creating and updating various types of manuals and catalogues, including Technical Manuals, User Manuals, Illustrated Part Catalogues, Operator Manuals, and Installation Manuals. This role requires a base location in Pune with the option to work from home.

Responsibilities

• Create and update Technical Manuals, User Manuals, Illustrated Part Catalogues, Operator Manuals, and Installation Manuals.
• Develop and correct illustrations to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Utilize technical expertise in, Solidworks Composer, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of product functionality and the installation/servicing process.
• Analyze engineering change orders, engineering drawings, installation drawings, and the product development process.
  
  

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in technical writing and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Solidworks Composer.
• Strong knowledge of technical publication standards.
• Experience working with home appliance, industrial, and life science products.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, specifically B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical.
  
  

Work Environment

The position is based in Pune, offering the flexibility to work from home. The role involves working with advanced authoring and illustration tools, and requires a thorough understanding of engineering and product development processes.
